“We live in a large house with wonderful views and a lot of sun, however, we lived in a house, not a home. We thought we could try and make it a beautiful home, but we did not have a clue as to what we were doing, to the point that we seriously considered selling it. Then we were referred to Sandy. We looked at her work online and decided to contact her as this was the direction we wanted to go within terms of design and style. From the initial consultation, we felt very comfortable dealing with Sandy, whom we found to be very accommodating, professional and extremely talented. Over the last 12 months, we have worked with Sandy to furnish and style our lounge and large open plan living areas. We would highly recommend Sandy as she was a pleasure to work with and has successfully fulfilled our vision. Her choice of timeless furniture, fabrics and art, flow beautifully throughout the house and the shutters she suggested are perfect in so far as that one can regulate the heat coming into the house and they also look amazing! D for Design Interior Design crafted this luxurious living space for our Exquisite Hilltop Residence project located on the Miramar Peninsula.

The living room features a tranquil monochrome colour scheme, adorned with a gorgeous assortment of textured and patterned soft furnishings.

Every piece of furniture in this room has been meticulously crafted in New Zealand by our reliable manufacturers, ensuring the highest quality.

Even the rug is a unique, custom design, and the captivating abstract landscape artwork was commissioned from the exceptionally talented Jody Hope Gibbons, an accomplished NZ artist.
